    Error Between Electronic Control Board and Circulation Pump Motor: disconnect the dishwasher from power and check the circulation pump wire harness and fix any wiring. If no issues are found with the wiring, replace the motor assembly and circulation pump.

    Door Switch Failure: this code only appears after the start button has been pressed and the door has been open for longer than 4 seconds. If the door is not open, there may be an issue with the door switch, and needs to be replaced.

  • 5-2 or F5E2

    Failure with Water Inlet Valve: unplug the dishwasher from power and remove the front panel on the bottom of the dishwasher and the toe panel. Check the wiring between the wiring harness and the water inlet valve. Replace any loose or broken wires or replace the wiring harness.

  • 6-3 or F6E3

    Suds or Air Detected in Water Pump: if too much detergent is used, this error code will appear. The drain pump will run for an additional 3 minutes to remove the excess suds. If there are still suds left in the dishwasher, you will have to remove these by hand.

  • 6-4 or F6E4

    Float Switch is Open: check to see if the overflow switch is stuck or blocked. Check to see if the water inlet valve is closing properly when the dishwasher is off.

  • 6-6 or F6E6

    Incoming Water is Too Cold: The dishwasher temperature should be between 110 to 120 F. If the temperature is below 110 F this code appears. You may need to replace the OWI thermistor or control board.

  • 7-1 or F7E1

    Heating Element Not Working: unplug the dishwasher and inspect the heating element and replace it if need be. If it is not damaged check the wiring harness for any damage.

  • 7-2 or F7E2

    Heating Element Not Shutting Off: turn the power off for at least 5 minutes and see if the code clears itself. If not, the control board needs to be replaced.

  • 8-1 or F8E1

    Draining Slow: turn off the power and shut off the water inlet valve. Check drain hoses for any blockages or kinks. If no issues with the hoses, check the drain pump's wiring and replace the drain pump if no issues are found with the wiring.

  • 8-2 or F8E2

    Drain Pump Error: turn off the power and water inlet valve. Check the wiring between the drain pump and the control board, if no issues are found replace the drain pump.

  • 9-1 or F9E1

    Electronic Control Board Cannot Detect Diverter Disc Position: To ensure the best water distribution from your dishwasher spray arms, check the diverter disc and related motor. Make sure electrical connections to these components remain secure; if not, repair or replace any faulty wiring harnesses immediately. If your previous efforts don't remedy the problem, replacing either/both of the electronic board or diverter disc may be necessary for a successful result.
